Superba™ Krill Oil ready for the European market


Aker BioMarine has been notified by the Finnish Food Safety Authority that Superba™ Krill Oil is now approved as Novel Food in the European Union. Consequently, Superba™ Krill Oil can be sold in all countries within the European Union.
“We are experiencing strong and growing interest for Superba™ Krill Oil in Europe”, says Matts Johansen, Aker BioMarine’s EVP of Sales and Marketing. “With the approval in place, we are prepared to immediately supply Superba™ Krill Oil to the European market, and pleased that our customers are able to sell our product to European consumers”

With the most recent Novel Food approval in place, Superba™ Krill Oil can be sold in most major markets, including the United States and the European Union.
